“When you cease to dream you cease to live.” — Malcolm Forbes

Once again, the month unfolds nothing like what I’d thought it would. At all. Not at all.

I’ve had a bunch of ideas for things that can be made that could be sold over the years. Sometimes someone else somewhere makes what I had in mind, which I think is pretty cool. Sometimes no-one creates what I’ve got on my mind. And sometimes the problem still persists even though no one has made something to address it yet.

Above all of those ideas though, and the potential ways to realize them, I’ve wondered how to build a system for that business that incorporates cellular organizational structure, cooperative principles, and modern social/organizational psychology into the core of the structure. I want the business to be somewhat democratically driven, cellular and scalable in nature, and review and mediation systems in place prior to people joining the organization.

I think the cooperative business structure is interesting. Especially if you bake it into the Operating Agreement of a Limited Liability Company. I have this little intuition in my brain telling me that now is the time to figure out how to write, and diagram, this idea out into something coherent. I think there might be something to what I’m thinking… mostly because I haven’t found anything quite like what I’m envisioning… yet.

The multi-stakeholder cooperative model is kinda close to what I’m thinking, but not quite.

I’ve found some subject matter experts that I’m going to contact soon. But first I’ve gotta get it written.

Not right.

Written.

To be continued.
